What Is Ultherapy (HIFU)?

Ultherapy delivers focused ultrasound energy to the deep structural layers of the skin (SMAS layer), the same layer targeted in surgical facelifts, but without cutting. The ultrasound energy creates thermal coagulation points that trigger the body's natural healing response, producing new collagen over 2 to 6 months. Korean clinics often combine Ultherapy with thread lifts, fillers, or skin boosters for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Results are most noticeable at 3 to 6 months and can last 1 to 2 years.

Duration: 60 to 90 minutes · Recovery: Mild swelling 1 to 3 days, some tenderness
