Prices and counts: the 8 most-viewed listings we checked on creatrip.com on 2026-10-25. Booking-site prices are often promotions and change without notice.

What happens

  1. Hair should be about a quarter to three-quarters of an inch long. Longer hair may be trimmed first.
  2. Wax is spread on the skin, sometimes with a cloth strip pressed on top.
  3. The wax or strip is pulled off quickly against the direction of hair growth.
  4. Afterward, cold packs and an oil-free moisturizer can calm the skin.

Before you book

  • Let hair grow to about a quarter to three-quarters of an inch before you go.
  • Do not wax sunburned skin. Stop retinoid creams a few days before.
  • If you took isotretinoin in the last six months, do not wax.
  • After waxing, avoid hot baths and wear loose clothing.

Watch out for

  • Waxing can cause ingrown hairs.
  • If redness or swelling lasts more than two days, see a doctor.
  • 2 of the 8 listings we checked also appear under Permanent Makeup, so check that the shop offers the body area you want.

Next step: choosing a shop yourself

  1. Pick two or three shops near where you are staying. The neighborhoods above are where most listings are.
  2. Send each shop the same questions: the total price with tax, whether it is per person, whether English is available, and the deposit and cancellation rule.
  3. Compare the written answers. Booking-site banners are often promotions and change without notice.
  4. For lasers, injections or anything a doctor does, read the treatment page first and ask the clinic for its registration to treat foreign patients.
